The holidays are the best time to get creative with your alcoholism. It is the only part of the year it is acceptable to be buzzed just about all of the time. Let's face it with Thanksgiving and then after that the stress of Christmas shopping, the family, and kids it is a wonder we aren't all completely hammered November through January first. Make a couple dozen of these high octane delicious jello shots and you can get a good holiday buzz while showing everyone your best impersonation of Martha Stewart.

1. Holiday Apple Pie Jello Shot

This recipe is great for Thanksgiving but works well at any time because apple, cinnamon, and fall go hand in hand.

Servings: About 25

Ingredients:
1½ cups Apple Juice
Apple Cider
4 1oz Envelopes of Unflavored Gelatin
1 cup Vodka, chilled in the freezer for several hours
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 cup Whipped Cream
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
 

Directions:

In a large sauce pan combine the Apple Juice and Apple cider and heat until it comes to a boil. Pour the gelatin into a bowl then pour the chilled Vodka into the gelatin. Then mix to combine the two. Let stand for about 1 minute. Then add the hot apple juice and sugar to the Vodka Gelatin mix. Stir until the gelatin and sugar are completely dissolved. Pour the mixture into EZ Squeeze Jello Shot Cups. Refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours. Before serving garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon.

2. Sugar Cookie Jello Shot

The classic sugar cookie left out for Santa that kicks like a reindeer. A couple of these and you are sure to get some sugar from Santa, Mrs. Clause, and atleast one elf.

Servings: About 10

Ingredients:
2 cups Water
4 Envelopes Unflavored Gelatin
8oz Bailey's Irish Cream, chilled
4oz Butterscotch Liqueur, chilled
2oz Cointreau Liqueur, chilled
¼ cup Ice Water
 

Directions:

Boil the 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in the gelatin until completely dissolved, about 3 minutes. Stir the Irish Cream, Butterscotch, Cointreau and cold water into the hot gelatin. Pour the mixture into EZ Squeeze Jello Shot Cups but save enough room to add whipped cream. Refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours. Spoon or pipe whipped cream on top and decorate with sugar decorations or colored sugar.

3. The Mistletoe Jello Shot

Pucker up because underneath this mistletoe is some holiday cheer. This shot is taylor made for the Jello Shot Injector. Here is a short video describing how to fill one.

Servings: About 10

Ingredients:
1 pkg (3 Oz.) Lime Jello
1 cup Boiling Water
½ cup Apple Pucker, chilled
½ cup Absolut Vodka, chilled
1 cup Whipped Cream
1 tsp Chopped Fresh Mint Leaves
 

Directions:

Dissolve jello in 1 cup boiling water. Add apple pucker, vodka, and chopped mint. First, fill the your Jello Shot Injector about ¾ the way with the jello mixture. Hold your finger over the opening so nothing leaks out. Then fill the rest of the way with whipped cream. Add the cap on and refrigerate until firm, about 4 hours.
