1. DJ Tanner
Everyone remembers the 90's sitcom Full House and the loveable DJ Tanner character. She had everything going for her- personality, fashion sense and intelligence. Okay maybe she wasn’t always the brightest; she did try changing her grade from an F to a B. But we must admit her hair always looked perfect and we secretly wanted to be her. Feeling nostalgic? You can show your true support for Dj Tanner by showing off this full house tank top.
2. Bad Mother Fucker Wallet
Who can forget this masterpiece film? It was jammed packed with violence, had quirky dialogue, and made us want to be a badass just like Samuel Jackson. No one can forget the scene when Samuel pulls out his wallet and the words Bad Mother Fucker were written across it. Show people you are also a badass by owning a replica Pulp Fiction Wallet.
3. Flip Up Sunglasses
Anyone that has seen the show A Different World will remember this beloved character. He was a genius who struggled to wow the ladies. Certainly not a womanizer by any means, but was a trend setter. Wayne introduced us to the flip-up sunglasses in the 90's. Ever since then his influence on this fashion trend has carried on. Celebrities like Lupe Fiasco and Jaden Smith still rock the flip-up sunglasses. Are you down to bring back this fashion trend?
4. Beer Pong
It seems like beer pong has been around for generations. It is a game that will never truly go out of style. Michael Jordan even enjoys playing peer pong when he is off the court. Luckily you don’t have to be six feet tall to be good at throwing plastic balls into red solo cups. As time has progressed, beer pong tables have been modified and offer a twist from the original beer pong table. Now tables can float in the water making it a perfect activity for any pool party.
5. Giant Foam Cowboy Hat
Some of SNL’s funniest moments in the 90’s took place on the set of Celebrity Jeopardy. Will Ferrell was the host of the skit and always had interesting celebrities guest star. What better way to show that you are a true cowboy than a giant foam cowboy hat?
6. Nerd Glasses
Steve Urkel stole our hearts when he appeared on television as the geeky and lovable nerd who wore suspenders and thick rim glasses. Even though Steve had a high pitched voice and a unrecognizable laugh, he always had good intentions, even if some of his inventions took a turn for the worst. We first noticed nerd glasses in the 90's, but they have continued to be popular over the decades. People used to just wear them for nerd costumes for Halloween, but now people wear nerd glasses casually out or show them off at music festivals.
Your childhood wasn’t complete unless you watched Pokémon. This show was addicting and always left people wanting more, which ended up turning into a huge franchise filled with video games and trading cards. The whole concept of going around from city to city catching Pokémon was enticing. The slogan ‘Gotta Catch Em All’ motivated us to do just that. Of course the most famous Pokémon was Pikachu, Ash’s sidekick throughout his journey. Never have I met anyone that hated Pikachu. He was an adorable rodent who was capable of electrocuting enemies. Today the Pokémon franchise continues to create new merchandise such as games, stuff animals and clothes. Consider this outfit the next time you attend a music festival.
