In the last year or two a lot of Bluetooth speakers have hit the market. If you take walk down the aisles of the big box electronic stores you will find a number of different speakers ranging from geometric cube to pill shaped. Up until now if you wanted to have a quality sounding compact speaker you would need to spend upwards of $300 dollars or more. It seemed that low price and high quality did not go hand in hand up until recently. Frattoys.com has gotten its hands on the newest speakers by Malektronics and we are pretty sure you are going to appreciate the deep quality sound coming out of these speakers at fairly low cost.
Malektronic Bluetooth speakers come in 4 different shapes and sizes, and range in price from $40 to $75. Each one is uniquely named and they are ‘Bailey’, ‘Rocky’, ‘Da Lutz’, and ‘Malibu’.
Starting with ‘Bailey’ the smallest least expensive one, the first thing you notice is just how compact it is. You could easily throw it in any purse or bag or even your pocket. It is that small. Don’t let its miniature size fool you. This speaker puts out a lot of sound and is perfect for the beach or dorm. There are some draw backs as you might imagine. The bass on this little guy is pretty much non-existent. Still the sound quality is excellent and the extreme portability makes up for the lack of thump.
The next one ‘Rocky’ is just as portable as ‘Bailey’. It is slightly bigger but the shape makes slipping it into your back pocket or short pocket an easy thing to do. It also has some of the same drawbacks as ‘Bailey’. Because of its size you don’t get the kind of bass that will make your teeth chatter. Still it is an amazing speaker, given its quality of sound, its size, and the affordable price.
‘Da Lutz’ is the most unique out of the four because it also house flashing neon lights that coordinate to the music. This speaker is great for any nighttime event where you want a little show with your music. It is still small but maybe not as portable as ‘Bailey’ and ‘Rocky’ because of its egg shape. The sound quality is a notch above the other two and will fill up a larger room.
The largest of all the speakers is ‘Malibu’ and it packs a punch. It is still small enough to be extremely portable but also it has the sound that any music snob can appreciate. The bass is admirable and the quality of sound is enough to fill a large room. This speaker is only $75 but will hold its own against a speaker that is double the price from some of the well-known name brands.
All in all these speakers are good quality and very affordable. Here at Frattoys.com we differed on which one we liked the best. Some of us really appreciated the color light show that ‘Da Lutz’ offered while some of us liked the pure sound coming out of ‘Malibu’. Whichever one you choose you will be sure to agree that these speakers are a great way to hear your favorite music anywhere you go, without breaking the bank.
